I'm so glad to hear that you guys toughed it up and went anyway. Nice to hear about the lack of deaths. Anyone else have pictures?

We (my son Rigel and I) didn't take pictures this time around. I wanted to just concentrate on the moment and just enjoy :) It was a good thing, too. We took extra time to enjoy the scenery at the racetrack and at the oasis. We even got to climb Eureka sand dune. I wrote in the sand, and we'll see in five years if it's still there. That'd be neat.

What great weather we had, and the scenerey was beautiful.
I wrote my name in the sand dunes too, but not with my hands... (just kidding).

Ed, don't those thongs get kinda gritty?
Sounds like everybodu had a good time. Sorry I couldn't make it...Jeep is still hiccuping, maybe it's been slipping out at night to go drinking!
We'll do this trip again, count on it.

Must be the tequila you put in the trailer ... did you ever check that? I mean, it's right there behind the Jeep. The temptation must be aweful.

Ok, Finally got around to posting some pictures.

This one is an old cabin at Lost Burro Mine.

A pan & silverware... or maybe rustware

This is one of the moving rocks at the racetrack. You can see the trail it left behind.

Some sand dunes located near the oasis.

And here is Lou towing his Cool Adventure Trailer. Man I want one these....

I couldn't get any pictures of the hot springs, as the naked people generally don't like being photographed. That is one of the best parts of the trip, though. I just love soaking in there (and yes, I wear a bathing suit  )
