Hey guys, I ran into this cool looking Red ZJ parked parked out in the desert today by a little cafe and man this thing was outstanding. Any of you guys know who this belongs to. I put a card on the window and maybe they will contact us. I asked in the cafe if it belonged to anyone but no one knew anything about it. i just olove those RED jeeps. Hope they drop in...very cool ZJ. Later...Clint

I don't know Clint... I think the red has you in a trance. It kinda' looks like a beater and for sure not a cool as as the LOST-ZJ.

I saw a really nice (red) ZJ in Pomona listed for 5800. It was bone stock and SUPER CLEAN inside and out. I did get the mileage but man, it was clean. You could pick it up and swap some parts.... Nevermind.

Hope you find the owner - I would love to know if that thing is a street truck or a trail rig!

Later,
J

OK I meet the guy and his wife that owns the ZJ. Seemed like a very cool couple and said they would wheel with a KJ club...No problems at all. They also told me they would keep track of us on the internet and make one of our runs. Said they needed to do a couple of more things to their ZJ before they went on runs but should be heading out on the trails with us soon.

both seemed like very cool people and looking forward to seeing them out on the trail with us. Later...Clint

This all started the day I showed up to the toy run in '03 and saw Mike Palmers ZJ...since then the hook's been set
Photos after installing the R.E. Lower control arms. The lift was there already and I'll be changing it sooner or later with the 4.5 R.E . Need to add the extended brake lines and bumpstops but she's on her way to offroad worthiness but a long way to go for sure.

The shot with Clints ZJ was the day I got the tires from Mike (I highly recomend doing business with him..great guy...great prices)

Stats: 96 ZJ w/ 4.0 and 135 K on the clock. 4 whl disc / Dana 30 in front Dana 35C in rear (soon to be 8.8 ford ).
Already has 4:10's w/trac loc . Grey fabric interior thats pretty clean. Runs alright but still working the bugs out.

You look so proud! Will this be your Denese's Jeep also or do you finally get one of your own? If your driveway is too crowed I'll babysit this one for ya!

Anyone want to place a bet on when the front bumper gets it's first hit.. :P ? Nice Grand Jeff, So when are we going run Last Chance Canyon again? I think the ZJ would be a great canidate for the V-Notch!

I think Jeff said he'd bring his ZJ to Last Chance Canyon run this Saturday (unsanctioned). You are so close by. If you don't have anything more pressing to do this Saturday, won't you join us? See the "Upcoming events" thread for more. We're all (myself, Annette, Mark, Jason possibly) are going to meet up with Jeff and Denise at Jawbone Canyon Store at 8:30am.

 No V-Notch just yet Brian

I'd be willing to bet money that the bumper won't be getting scratched anytime soon ....it's not on the ZJ :!:

Hope you can make it Saturday...Jim Kinsey will be up in Mojave Friday nite and we'll be up in the morning to have breakfast if possible (depends on our start in the A.M)

Hope to see you there

Darn it Darn it Darn it! I cant even explain what kind of couple of weeks I have had. I have been basically walking around in a daze and havent payed much attention to much other than what has been circling around me. With the new addition to my little Jeep family, work and the passing of my Grandfather, I totally missed the tail end of the other thread. I wish I could go out with all of you this weekend. It would do me some good to clear my head and thrash up the KJ for a day, but it is already down for a horrible noise in the driveline, the 4 -runner is not trail wrothy YET, and I just tore down the XJ to do some ALWAYS needed modifications. I hope all of you have fun tomorrow, and be safe! Who knows I just might drive down and meet the newer members before you go out! I'll be seeing ya.

Brian
