I was thinking about buying 6-8 sheets personally. I've emailed them for case prices. This stuff is supposed to keep frozen a couple days without loosing it's cool.

Kind of a "Frosty" response guys......

Turns out:

One case has 250 sheets @ $2.25 per sheet. Total $562.50.

And they're in Big Bear City !! we could pick it up and go on a run !!

25 people get 10 sheets for 22.25 each person and it's all good Never buy ice again

I get that feeling often too. But I'm an only child.

It's a great product and a good deal, but I really don't see a need for 10 sheets. And I don't think you are going to find 25 people. With that being said, I'll split the 6 sheet deal with ya.

03 Freedom with some neat stuff done to it that I learned about here.

I didn't respond earlier because I'm not impressed with them. We've had some for years and they are handy for some situations, but our experience has been they don't hold cold long. You might get a normal day out of them, but several days? If you think about it, they're like separated ice cubes in size, having exposure all over to lower temperatures. Contrast that with, say, a block of ice, which will last longer in my experience. Or even one of the larger blue ice containers.

Again, they can be good for a lunch pack.

I've used others that looked like these and you are right...I wasn't impressed either. I was wondering if these might actaully be new and improved ? Last thing I want is to buy so more of this type that don't work !!!

Yes, the ones we have are the same brand. I'm not saying they're worthless, remember. We often use them when going to the grocery store to keep things cool while taking up little room. And for a lunch box they're OK. But we've never had them last past a day, unlike the review people claim. Unless they had an ambient temperature of 33 degrees and didn't open the box too much.

We also had some previously, don't recall the brand. I think they all operate on the same principle, using highly water absorbent white stuff. So, what you've basically got is a high tech ice cube in a plastic wrap.
