Quinn is going to put a 4" lift on my TJ, ( I'll have the $$ for you next week buddy and we will order) so I went tire shopping today. 33 x 12.5 x 15's Just went to Big O to start. The BFG's were $165.00 a tire and the MT/R's were $227.00 a tire. Before I start working people over for price, are the MT/R's that much better then the BFG's? And since 90% of my driving is on the stupid 91 down to "The O.C.", should I go with the BFG's and save the $$ for some Boulder Bars, skids and ect.?

Thanks,
Burchie

That seems a little high on the Goodyears. Tire rack has them for 163.00 plus a 75.00 gas certificate, bet you could get them shipped for a lot less than the diff (64.oo per tire). Tire rack also has the Firestone Destination MT and the people running those really seem to like them. (158.00 ea.)

Dude...go to MIKES TIRE up in Pinon Hills (by Clints house)

Get the Dunlop Mud Rovers. I got a set of 5 for 80 or 85 each mounted ballanced w/ new stems.

32.12.501x15's

The guy is VERY cool...and the Deal cant be beat. I really like the tires, they ride great and are nearly as agressive as the MTR's ...same load range as the MTR's just a little softer compound. Don't let the price fool you , they are really nice tires. While your there getting them mounted go across the street and have the Macha & Eggs....THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD !

Pinon Hills? Do I need a passport? Good thing I have all the stuff from the safety list with me.

Thanks for the info. I will look him up.
