Why yes!

MAP OF LOCATION, MEADOWS EDGE PICNIC AREA

Note that it is just down the street from the Serrano campground entrance off North Shore Ln.

Current plan is to meet there around 5pm-ish. Hopefully there will still be space and we can get in and cook some grub. I can't make it over there in advance to scout it out but was told it is a cool spot.

Should have plenty of room, very spacious area. We've been up to that spot a few times and enjoyed it.

Yes, the picnic area is paved and easily accesable by car. I made sure it was for those coming up for just the dinner portion.

Heck, Drive the Jeep up and we will do a night run on the way home!! There will be plenty of time to sleep Later!

GREAT NEWS! I have been wanting to check out that area for years. We always camp at Serrano and could walk over there but never made it.

Whatever you like to eat and share would be great! Variety is always good as is home made goodies! :D

Side dishes?
Carne asada, hot dogs, burgers, typical BBQ fare would be great.

I need to grab a bag of charcoal and some lighter fluid. Plates, napkins, etc. woul dbe cool if anyone has extras lying around. I can bring some of each of those but maybe not enough for everyone.

Looking forward to meeting everyone, what time are we thinking this will start at? I got the Jeep going in to AllJs at 11 and then however long it takes to get all the surgery done.

Link above shows the Sugarloaf Park area that we will do dinner at for May 31st after the trail run. Bring some grub to eat and share.
The group that is wheeling should be there around 5-530 PM. We will be celebrating Burchies "27th" B-Day. (Think he was born on a leap year)

Address:
44828 Baldwin Ln
Sugarloaf, CA 92386

PHONE 661-916-1177 if you need more info.

Thanks!

Sounds like a plan. How long do you guys plan on wheeling for so I can let my passengers know what to plan for.

Well we are meeting around 0930 and leave for the trail about 1000 returning to hit the park for dinner at 5pm. Imagine we will be wheeling the whole time in between or close to it.

maybe i misunderstood your phraseology earlier, i thought we were doing a night run...my bad...

I do have about 30 hamburgers though to cook and about 24 buns to put them on. I plan on bringing them for the cookout as well....gotta love leftovers from a work party...
