Thinking of running out to see The East side and run Heartbreak then whatever we find from there, Run into BB and have some grub and hang out in the cooler, cleaner air. 8)

Come on!! You know you wanna wheel....hey and gas prices are coming down again....LOL!

23rd / 24th Camping overnight if you like, Run will be on the 23rd though.

Won't be wheeling for several weeks my Lib is sitting in my garage with a broken driver side upper A-arm. I have the GENII arms. Wife was making a right turn and it just broke about 3 block from the house. Called Marlin and he sent me new arms my wife said its here and waiting for me. Also might be changing out the pass side cv axle got alot of play on the inner cv.

What campsites are open from the fire. I like serano, next to the lake. I've never walked down there. Yellow post is cool but man, I ran into some strange people out there. There is a 14 day limit, and even though you are suppose to check in at the DC, people don't so there is no real way to know if something is open ahead of time.

So....

Our BB connection was trying to find a group camp so several people could camp together but that didn't pan out since most are reserved far in advance. Anyhow, back to hunting down campsites if you are staying overnight.

I'm not sure what I am doing so don't wait for me.

Post subject:  8/23 HOT AUGUST NIGHT!

Got the Gen 4.5 upper A-arms in looks beefier then the old style. I also decided to take the pass side CV out to check the inner CV where the axle shaft is connected notice some play in it. The axle shaft was hard to release from the CV joint I had to hang it from my vise soak it with WD40 then use a rubber mallet gave it several good blow on the CV housing and it finally pop loose. It was dry and signs of rust stains around the splines cleaned and lubed it real good with grease. I guess the splines are worn but going to have to do till I change the axle shaft and CV. So I'll see you guys in BB on the 23rd.

Hey folks! We will be doing a potluck dinner at the Sugarloaf park. Same park we did Burchies B-day. They have grills there for BBQ but bring charcoal and lighter fluid. Store down the street sells both too and food if you need to pick somehting up when you get there. (limited selection of food stuffs though) I'm bringing carne asada and tortillas!

Kids bring your skateboards and you can play in the skate park!
