Posted all dates to MJR forum. See if we can get some more folks out.

BTW Mike, How about that easier trail run out that way? Notice a guy from MJR is trying to put one together this month but nobody is getting in on it due to late notice and lots going on this month.

You mean the desert tour? or the granite slab area.

Desert tour of the surrounding hills/mtn's. you know, the "easy" run.

When were you thinking of doing it? or in place ot the BF?
That would be fine with me. It's a nice run.

I was just thinking, since this is an "open" OHV area, and depending on the type of vehicles, we could establish another
route that would be suitable for the KJ's. It's a large area and could be easily be done.
This would make for a fun day, just wandering around like we were LOST.

That'd be good, they don't have to be super-easy, just something a lifted (non-IFS) KJ can handle.

There are a couple of options for this :
- hash out a new easier line through the rocks,
- or take a tour through the Mojave outback, this is a fun drive.
- or do the hard stuff.
As the time gets nearer we'll take a concensus from those who are going.
I'm good with any of the above.

I'm even open to doing a snow run in Big Bear, if and when it snows : :D :D

Anyone intrested in doing a hard core trail?? I was wanting to do a run on the infamous Bullfrog Trail this fall. Date TBD.
This trail is rated a 10, but very fun and doable. Well built rigs are nessasary.
The trail is located in the Johnson Valley OHV area off of Camp Rock Rd. near Lucerne Valley, Ca.
This may not be for everybody, but there are a few that might be looking for this type of 4 wheelin.

There are a few from other groups that are intrested so we'll see who wants to go.

Click on link below for a slideshow of the trail.

YEAH you weren't joking when you stated "Well built rigs are necessary" darn I just bought the new Jeep Liberty 2008 for $22,600 as I passed up an offer to buy a 1972 FJ40 for $18,000 my first choice for offroading truck, but I was replacing a daliy driver truck and needed to tow 3800 pounds so a wrangler is not rated anymore than 2000#s So I got a liberty its nice but no way even ready to do what the FJ40 with 33s could have done with my eyes closed. What do I need to do to this liberty? Is a 4" lift too high that I have to worry about rolling? anyone know? I am not the lifting type. Use to take go out 4x4 with my moms 85 landcruiser and had no problems with the stuff we did or people we followed.
