From email from Yahoo AAT group: Well folks its time for the Clash of the Titans again. This year we are going big! We are at a new location, The Discovery Center, on Saturday, October 25th 2008. Set up is at 9:am and the fun start at 11:00am. We are able to have limited camping there. That will be on a first come reservation, as there is LIMITED Space available. Without an RSVP, I am sorry to say you will not be able to park your RV there. And there is no hook ups. We also ask that you please don't tow your off road vehicle if can help it, as the only parking for tow rigs is off site. We will be having some new folks cooking this year for the cook-off, so bring your best recipe. We also have a surprise cook that will be working the grill, and trust me you will not be disappointed. Please remember A-L please bring a desert and M-Z please bring a side dish. We will also have a photo contest so start picking your best shot and lots of things to do with the family. MOre info regarding this event: The clash has been going on for 12 years now and it is a way to say thanks to all who have volunteer to help keep the trail and roads open in the forest. The name came from the Cook off, Greg came up with that. This is the first time we have had it up on the hill, because if you wish afterward you can go out for a nice ride before you go home. So we have a few friendly competition in the cook off and photo contest...we bbq up hambugers and hot dogs plus everything everyone brings so we have a bunch of food!!! So if you could let me know how many will be joining you and if you could bring one of your stickers that would be great Dave Sounds pretty cool and something we need to go experience as a group. Please mark your calendar for this and show up and have some fun! |

Anyone else?? Lets get a good turn out for this one and represent our club. This is an easy one, no cleaning involved, show up and eat great BBQ, mingle, look at Jeeps, enjoy Big Bear, heck there might even be time for an easy trail ride. |

I'll be there for this event. I won't be able to do any other events in Nov. and Dec. I'll be in training the rest of the year. I'm going to try hard on making the Turkey crawl but it is going to be hard flying back from Atlanta during the holiday weekend. |
