Hello Socal- A friend of mine is having some trouble with his transfer case on his 2004 Liberty Sport (3.7L)- he is reporting that it sounds like pennies clanging on glass when it is engaged in 4H and 4L- Do any of you have any idea what this might be? Could it possibly be the shift fork hitting something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time and consideration., Coullt |

Is it still working besides the noise? Regardless, it sounds like time to at least pull the case apart and check it out thouroughly. there might be something loose in there rattling around. |
