Dec 13-14, 2008 District 37 & BRP will be hosting a Fun Ride at Cougar Buttes. We also have invited Dave Cole with the Friends of Johnson Valley & Tin Benders to come out and make this a joint event with D37 & the Rock Crawling community. The purpose of this event is to have an opportunity for the members/family of D37 & the Rock Crawling community to learn more about our fight to Save Johnson Valley/Military base expansion. D37 realizes that many of our members can not attend the monthly meeting in Brea where this information is discussed. With that thought in mind we are going to have tents set up in case of bad weather where we can have lunch, listen to speakers and gather information on how each of us can help with the fight to save Johnson Valley.
The tentative agenda is a Morning Ride then return for Lunch and an Afternoon Ride. We really want this to be fun and informative weekend for all members of D37/Rock Crawling community. So please leave this weekend open on your calendar. Show your support for Johnson Valley. Bring your family, friends and neighbors out for a fun time in the desert.
