Some do and camp there for the weekend. Most just drive out for the day.
The guys that run the Hammer trails often have green sticker type rock buggies
that have to be trailered.
They come up from Orange county and the LA area, others are more local.

I like it when really built rigs drive to, on an back from trails. Might as well have a boat if you are going to trailer.

My buddy ruined his engine in his XJ in water about that deep. Seized it up and it was garbage. I'll look for a pic but it wasn't deep at all. I had to laugh because my TJ had gone through way deeper.

He must have been doing something wrong. Air box Intake is right behind the DS headlight and air box has drain holes in it.

:lol: I have no idea what he was doing. I only saw pics of it sitting in the water where it froze. I was out of the country. I still make fun of him for blowing an engine in a puddle.
