Up in the Red Rock cyn area, near Last Chance Canyon, lies Nightmare Gulch. Nightmare Gulch is only open a few months a year and only open to vehicle traffic the last half of those months.

It is a difficult trail but fun fun fun. (so I understand) I am planning on running out there on Saturday, Jan. 24th to run it with the High Desert 4 Wheelers club of the Antelope Valley.

Anyone else like to come along?

Details below. Meeting at Primo Burger in Mojave at 0830.

Are you still on stock tires?

I'll ask those that have run it recently and see what they say.

Jan 24th - (Nightmare Gulch-Last Chance Canyon) - We will run two highly scenic Canyons starting with Nightmare Gulch ending with Last Chance Canyon. Warning; Nightmare Gulch is not recommended for Full Size Vehicles, Cherokee's are okay. Anyone who wants some Extreme Rock Crawling can try the optional V-Notch but body damage is common through this obstacle. We will break for lunch on the trail once we get through Nightmare. Anyone with a full size vehicle or trailer can park in the Stater Brothers parking lot just behind Primo Burger and ride as a co-pilot, you won't be disappointed! We meet at Primo Burger in Mojave at 8:30AM and leave at 9:00AM
