Any of you NV guys interested in setting up a run in the upcoming weeks? I have a couple of different trails in mind, one is the Powerline Trail (or Electric Avenue) which goes from Hwy 95 down to the Colorado River (around Nelson), the other is McCormic Pass whcih goes from Hwy 95 around the power plant south of Henderson across the mountains to Primm. Both of these are stock friendly and not something that would interest someone looking for a trail on the level of Potato Ridge. Just a fun day out an about. |

Hey Taz, I'm interested in just such a run. I have a "clunk" coming from somewhere in the power train that I need to identify and solve but I am hoping that I can get to it tomorrow. The weather now is perfect for a run. When did you have in mind? |

Probably either the 28th or 29th of March. I kind of prefer Sundays but I am flexible. |

Sundays are the very best day for me. Its the only day of the week that I call a "day off" (whatever those are supposed to be). I think the 29th is doable (as long as the Liberty cooperates). Let's tentatively plan on it. Where do you want to meet? I'll PM some of the local guys once we get some details nailed down and we will see if you can get a few more to join us. If the weather is anything like it was today, it should be a fantastic day on the trails. |

Lets plan Sunday the March 29th. Meeting in the Casino parking lot at Railroad pass at 10:00am. Lets do the Powerline trail (or Electric Avenue as some call it). This trail is a nice Sunday drive, goes right down to the river. 
Hopefully I will get the Libby picked up this coming weekend and be able to take it. |
