Looking forward to getting back out to our AAT. Meet up at 9am at Mc Donald's, Leaving by 9:30am. Should be a fun day? End up in Arrowhead for dinner and maybe take the trail backward home? I' haven't been in a few months so there might be a little clean up. Anyone?????

Pretty much IN. Will be re-stickering the aat sign w/ a nice new black version like the forum logo up in left corner.

Might have some other stuff to run after the AAT if I can get a volunteer to go w/ me.

He will be 3 in August. Time to get them out to see the great outdoors.

BTW, I have some thoughts about your PM to me. I'll get back to you in a day or so. Just wanted you know that I wasn't blowing you off.

Adopt-a-trail

LOST JEEPS So-Cal has adopted Pilot Rock trail, 2N33, in the San Berdoo forest. It runs around Silverwood Lake and up near Lake Arrowhead. Great easy scenic trail w/ some play spots thrown in.

Thanks for the explanation...I have done that trail....it does have some very nice views. There are also some nice pools for swimming just a little hike from Miller campground.

Wish I could find the time to go. But I have not even had time to check this site much with all the studying for my architectural test. Will be back out wheeling in July.

Miller campground is off hwy 138 it is a group campsite only I believe. It is near the CDF pilot rock inmate fire crew camp. This is where I started from and went up to pilot rock and then came down the other side ending up on hwy 173

Well it looks like I'm going to have to work Saturday, not my choosing but I can't argue with the OT I guess.

I may get to the Truck and Jeep Expo thing in Ontario on Sunday. Has anyone gone before...is it worth the drive?

Have a good run Saturday!

This run is still On. If you have a metal detector could you please bring it w/ you? Need to find a buried water tank valve.

Heavy metal rakes, loppers, etc. appreciated too. Not a ton to do but we will be trying to do some minor clearing on blind corners of the light branches at least, clearing of culverts and moving of rocks off the trail.

Bring gloves and trash bags and don't forget water.

Thanks!! 8)
