jk-forum.com is running this trail. i'm almost 100% sure i'm going, all is welcome. here is the info:

It’s that time again, the monthly trail run up in Big Bear. On July 25, 2009, I am putting together a trail run to end at Deep Creek (the swimming hole) via Gold Mountain, 3N16, & Dishpan Springs. I am hoping to make it to Deep Creek by early afternoon so we can spend a couple of hours enjoying the water and scenery. Thus, this run will likely last all day, but of course, it all depends on "trail traffic" and the number of times I get stuck .

Depending on interest, I would really like to do a night run up John Bull Saturday night (for those that are interested let me know and we'll set the specifics).

After running these trails and swimming all day, if there is enough interest, we can BBQ in the evening at my local Big Bear cabin.

When:
Saturday, July 25, 2009 @ 8:00 am
(We will depart for the trails by 8:30; please have gas, snacks, drinks, and potty appointments completed by the departure time. Thanks)

What:
Big Bear Lakes --> Gold Mountain, 3N16, & Dishpan Springs trails

i've never been on this trail before, but looking at the pictures, you might need a lift. can any one give some input on this trail?

I got a good map in the truck i'll check tomorrow. I don't think i will have a lift by then. looking forward to a 4" lift with 32" tires.

Both trails are rated MOST DIFFICULT. Dishpan has 2 difficult spots, but going towards deep creek
you'll be runnung them in the downhill direction.

John Bull is difficult the whole way (2 1/2 miles). A lift & large tires are nessasary for a successful run on this trail.
Your JK specs sound more than suffuciant for both trails.
