Its time for some fresh faces in our club administration. Please post up if you are interested in a club officer position or if you would like to nominate someone. Following are offices that need to be filled: President Vice President Secretary/Treasurer Event Coordinator Please let us know if you have any sugestions or questions. THanks! |

Here are my choices for officers. Pres = Me VP = ED EC = Kelly Sec (Do we really need this position?) = N/A Tres (Do we really need this position?) = N/A - If we start collecting dues again, we can elect someone. It's been so long I really don't think Kathy needs to be stuck with it anymore. And we can redo the banking stuff then too. New position and duties. PR - To promote LOST Jeeps on all the other jeep sites and forums. = JJ My platform: I've been around here for a long time. I've been EC and now VP. If i'm elected Pres, I will bring organization back to this club, and will guarantee some type of event each month. Our biggest problem is we are so spread out. From the high desert all the way to SD, then east to Lancaster / Palmdale area. And now Vegas is included. We will divid the areas up on a map and pick dates and trail leader from that area to organize and host runs. So everyone will get at least one trail ride if not more in their areas. Communication is a big problem too. At one event we see a large group, then the next time we are down to a handful, then it's the 3 of us sitting around looking at each other asking, "where did everyone go?" I'm going to try and get a monthly newsletter out to all of us offering trail reports and ideas for the future. So if I'm Pres, and you don't want to get an e-mail from me at least two times a month, you better tell me now. Those are the biggest problems I see right now with the way things are going. I believe solving those, will bring this group back together as a club. |
