Surely some body uses the dealer in Pahrump? if not can anybody recommend some one in Las Vegas? or a good mechanic, I have a Liberty CRD, and am a long way from home. :CAMPING:

Interesting... on my last trip to Death Valley, I blew out my front strut as well :(. It sounded like a bomb went off on my front end... stopped the Jeep and looked underneath, so much fluid was pouring out of the strut I didn't even realize they contained that much.

At any rate, limped to Pahrump only to find out that every auto dealer there was closed as it was a Sunday... so went to Vegas (it was like driving a circus wagon the whole way) and was able to get the shocks repaired at a Pep Boys a few miles northwest of the strip... Good price and good service so would recommend, although they just installed stock parts so if you're looking for something heavy duty not sure what they would have.

Good luck.... Death Valley is a terrible place to have a breakdown!

Sorry, I don't know anything about that Jeep dealer. The dealership that I work with the most, when I have to, is the Chapman over at 930 Auto Show Drive. I deal with a Vince Thompson there. He is a bit hard to get a hold of but they do good work.
If your just looking for a mechanic...I honestly do not know. I do most of my own work and am up in the NW part of the valley near near the Santa Fe. I have heard a few good and a few bad things about Pepboys but there are many throughout the valley. Let us know how it goes.

UPDATE: Just got back from Trudeau jeep in Pahrump, and yes my front shocks are shot, and the rear end needs replaced. Good news, bad news, The warranty is going to cover everything including a rental jeep while it's being repaired, bad news they don't have the parts and with the holiday it will be next week before they get them.
I highly recommend this dealer, Nick is the service advisor and seems to know his way around a jeep.
I just had the pumpkins serviced in November, the paper work says that 75-140 synthetic was used, and I've never abused this jeep, or any other for that matter. Going to post in the liberty section about the rear end. :CAMPING:
