Hi I'm new to this forum so sorry if im posting in the wrong area. I have a 07' Jeep Lib. 4x4. I wanted to trailer my Honda S2000 w/ it. Was wondering if its capable of doing that. The trailer is a 15' duel axle w/ elect. brakes and weights ~ 1500lbs. My S2000 Weight ~ 2800lbs.I live in san diego and want to trailer it to Laguna Seca in Monteray about 600 mi. The Lib is stock w/ ~ 27k miles and well main't. Any suggestion or advise would be great. Thanks !

Welcome to the site.
Yes, you "can" do it. The Libby is rated for around 5000# total trailer weight, you will be about 500 under that. Definitely have trailer brakes hooked up. It is recommended you at least put on an extra tranny cooler, maybe even an extra cooling fan. If possible, use a Weight distribution hitch, even though most car/flatbed trailers do not have proper built trailer tongue for it, and pull with OD turned off. Make sure weight is distributed to about 10-15% of hitch. Take your time pulling.

^^thanks for the input. Should I adjust tire pressure at all? is that 5K tow rate is separate from what is actually in the Libby. ?
