December's Lost run will be in Death Valley/Panamint Valley.
We will be meeting on Saturday Dec 11th in Ballarat at 9 a.m. and spend the day out checking out the area. Then Saturday night we will be staying in Panamint Springs Resort. You will need to reserve your room or tent site or full hook up for RV ASAP, as they fill up fast! Then Sunday is open to whoever wants to still go out or head home. I am staying in a hotel in Ridgecrest Friday nite, and driving over to Ballarat if anyone wants to meet up. Anyone who wants to camp Friday night is welcome to join Dan, since he will be camping( I will have more details on this soon).

There are only 4 rooms with Queen beds $79 per nite and 7 rooms with 2 double beds $94 per nite. The rooms have NO Phones, NO TV. Tent sites are $7.50 per nite and full RV hook ups are $30 per nite. Check in is 4p.m. and check out is by 11a.m.
They will require a credit card to hold your rerservation and a 48 hour cancellation policy. So at least you can reserve a spot if your not sure yet. There is a restraunt hours are 7 a.m. to 9p.m. and a bar that serves over 120 beers. So I was told by the desk clerk. The average temp in Dec there is 39 to 65 degrees. Info for the day run is full tank of gas, plenty & extra water and food. Your rig needs to be in good mechanical shape, spare tire, jack/ high lift, safety gear and attire for various temps.
