Here's the details for the FEb 5th Run:
The area we will be covering is in the west end of the Johnson Valley OHV area. There are several turn of the last century mines and mine sites that we'll be visiting.

Each of the mines go in several hundred feet and still have a lot of wood structure inside of them. A couple of the sites still have different artifacs from the mining days - such as cans, scrap metal of all sorts and old 1940's trailer etc. and I am also hoping to visit 2 mine sites that have rock cabins on site.

I'm going to use the easy/moderate routes to each of these mines. There will be a lot of ground to cover so the pace will have to be at a whistle stop rate. There will be plenty of time to explore each mine areas though.

Vehicle requirements will be 4 wd and at least 245 tires. A stock Liberty can do the routes, but the terrain is very rough and good off-road tires are a must. Full size spare is required.

We'll cover approx. 50 off-road miles and should be back on the road by 4:00ish. This will be a great run to bring the family and kids on.
