Hey we had a great turn out for our 1st annual training day ....14 Jeeps!

We started our day with some play/practice on the offroad obstacle course and then moved onto a trail ride up Pronghorn Cyn and across Quail pass to Freeman wash for lunch. There was a steep climb up Pronghorn that went very well and Quail pass was super tight, with barely enough room for a Jeep. We dropped down into Freeman Wash and had some lunch and then drove over to the North West section of the park to some hill climbs and tried our luck. Everyone got a chance to really test their KJ and nerves.....We had a very adventurous group that tried every obstacle !! (some of us repeatedly until we made it ) We did get alot of attention from the dirtbike crowd who like always had NEVER seen a KJ do that !

Great work you guys.

Annette brought her brand new Solar Yellow Rubicon out for it's maiden trip and did it walk up everything in its path . I think she's going to have to drag a cement filled VW Bug to make it a challenge from now on :P

The topper was Ted's bonzi run up a VERY steep motorcycle hill climb that made half of the park take notice !! Ted rocks !

Thanks to all that came out and made this a great day of learning and laughs. It's always a good time with KJ WEST...

A special shout out to the new guys for doing an outstanding job. Will , Scott and Ben didn't back off of any obstacle...they did them all !!! GREAT JOB

Burchie,Mike and others took alot of photos so expect them soon.

What a fun day, great to meet up with everyone. Well worth the 3 hour drive from San Diego.

I have some pics that will be up later.

Thanks to all the spotters, also a special thanks to Ed for keeping his cool on the steep hill that apparently I was close to slipping down. I didn't realize how close I was till I got to the top.

Thanks, till next time.

Had a great time as usual. I did get some good photos and will be posting them up. I know my friend Tony (other yellow TJ) had a great time also.
