Does anyone in San Diego know of any good lift shops?

I may not need it depending on when the lift party is for but, with the way school is going right now I may just need a shop to drop it off at in the morning and then pick it up in the afternoon.

So any SD guys can give me some input it would be great.

Will

If I lived in SD I would install it for a cold beer. I prefer Corona.

we're in la mesa but drive up to All J in Colton for all our work--sure it's over 2 hours but it's worth it. for the right incentive i'll drive your jeep up there and wait on it for you :) there are tons of places out in el cajon, the only one i've had personal experience with is ORW and i'll never go back. of course, i'm just a dumb blonde (with an engineering degree) so what would i know. you might have better luck.

Take a short drive inland to Colton, CA and visit All J http://www.boulderbars.com. They will install it.

If you are a LOST KJ West member, there is a pre-calico lift party happening. Then you could learn how to install a lift as well as a bunch of other stuff about your KJ. Oh, the lift party will be at the All J shop.

Later,
J

Once the dates come out for the lift party I will see if my school schedule allows me to make it to All J's. If I am not going to be able to make it then I wanted a local shop, if anyone new of any.

Hey Will,

Yes, there are all kinds of shops that will lift your rig. Do they know what they are doing on a KJ ?. Not really, the experience and interest in the KJ is very low on there main dollar flow. There is a shop called TAG Performance in Escodido that is C/D authorized and used by Escondido Jeep, which means the work they do is covered under the warranty if authorized by the dealer. Be prepared to pay through the nose and every other financial part of your body. Do they know what really works off road on the KJ? Do you want to learn about your Jeep by the folks who know? Be Patient, ( Inconvenience without complaint ) hang tight dude, and you too can be lifted by a great group of people who know and will teach/help you do it right. There is a deep (profound ) reservoir of knowledge within the L.O.S.T group about the ( OFF ROAD KJ ) and you would do yourself a great service by waiting and attending a lift party. ( Sorry Will and everyone else , I feel so windy, a little preachy today, need to chill out quit -a-bit ). Will, good luck on whatever you decide, but continue to ask questions and get involved.
