Anyone have some free time comming up ? Maybe a easy/moderate big bear run ? Last Chance Cyn ? Miller Jeep Trail ? I've never been on the Miller Jeep trail so can't lead that one..but I could do the others . (of course we'll have to drive in circles until I find the trailhead...but we'll get there |

Anyone can throw a non-sanctioned run together. It looks like Burchie Will be in charge of organizing the Sanctioned KJ WEST runs though. I have been thinking of running out to Calico again like this time last year but I need to make sure to get some things taken care of before running out of time before Moab. UGH!! Stupid work and such getting in the way of wheelin again!! |

I have been thinking of running out to Calico again like this time last year but I need to make sure to get some things taken care of before running out of time before Moab. UGH!! Stupid work and such getting in the way of wheelin again!! hmm....Calico Mike R was telling me about a bunch of cool trails we've never been on. Some easy...some harder. I'd be open to any on them..except for the big dog trail at the bottom of Doran Cyn... Will: That practice day up at Gorman was an "unsanctioned" run. We cant be waiting around for the bureaucrats to make it happen !! Since becoming an officer Burchie's probably got to consult a POLL or a Feasibility Study 1st ... I don't know about the rest of the club but I need to get out on the trail more. We need Mario to hook up a Death Valley run (Scotties Castle ?) or maybe we could get a Mojave Road / Afton Cyn run going after Moab? |

I have a feeling the "Practice day" event will become a Yearly Sanctioned run starting next year. It will make a great run for those that need/want to go out and play or learn more about what their vehicles, And the Drivers, are capable of. It was a cool run and a success for what it was. The big event that Burchie and his Helpers are going to need to start working on Real soon is the Big Bear event for June. I imagine we should be having a Officer meeting here in the next couple weeks. |

When it gets warmer out at Gorman I'm definatly going to organize a night run for that trail we did. 70 deg. nite with a full moon....that would be very cool. I can't believe Big Bear is upon us so soon !... |

For the month of March, Sunday's are good for me. Just like JJ, stupid work is getting in the way of wheelin'. I'd be up for just about anything, no big rocks thou, not until I get my bars and skid put on..HINT HINT. Unless we really feel terribly ill on a weekday, and more then an hour notice So I'm in, just say when. |

I'd be up for a Moab shakedown run but would prefer it be in the west, like Gorman was. Are there enough trails there to make a run worthwhile? Or anything near Mojave? |

There is the Miller Jeep Trail near Gorman. Ted has a Last Chance Cyn Run either this or next week with another club. I'm looking into us tagging along (just a concept at this point) Calico on the 1st could be cool too... |

LCC sounds like a good run, before it gets to be 103 degrees this summer. And the night run, Yeah Baby. I'm all over that. The Hang over crawl was good too. That back way up to BB was neat. Holcomb creek, Bill? Gold mountain? John Bull? How about a snow run, if we ever get any. Basically i'm up for anything, except Clieghorn!!! |
