They've got some rocking Indian Fry Bread too, that'll stretch you out to 5 days!

Didn't realize it was this soon. I really won't be able to make it, wish I could. :( Have a good time and give me a report on the springs.

Just wanted to say thanks to Mario for organizing this great run and for the great food. Also thanks to Clint for leading the trail and not getting us L.O.S.T. in the desert.
I had a blast. Even Cathy admitted that she enjoyed the springs. That place is just beautiful.

Glad you and the family got to go, too bad you had to cut out early cuz you missed some really beautiful vistas up in the mountains. Check out Burchies' great pictures!

If you're feeling brave, I'm planning a return trip next year in August to soak and watch the Perseids meteor shower.

August? I'm in. I never photographed a meteor shower before. With the fire glow on the rock, and the sky moving from the shower. Now that would be cool!!!!!

If we're still here in SoCal by August next year, I'd make the trip again for sure.

It would make quite the set for you Burchie...I don't know about standing around a fire though, it gets pretty freaking hot out there in August, are your sweat glands up for 120+? It's worth it though, for the light show and of course, the Springs are un-populated at that time.
