Four Wheeling involves people – drivers, passengers and bystanders. These Safety rules have been created to help in the protection of the people involved, both directly and in association with the vehicle.

1. Absolutely no drinking allowed before and during any trail runs. People under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate in any club related activities.

2. All members must abide by the Tread Lightly rules.

3. Roll bars and seat belts are mandatory in soft-top vehicles; seat belts in hard top vehicles. Recovery points are mandatory on all vehicles.

4. No 4 wheeling should be done on club runs without 2 or more vehicles taking part.

5. No standing in vehicle while it is in motion.

6. Loose objects, such as passenger seats, tool box, ice box and spare tire should be firmly secured.

7. Children should never be left alone in a vehicle. Be sure to remove the keys when vehicle is parked or unoccupied.

8. Members should be responsible for his/her guests on club trips. Members should also be responsible for their own pets and children.

9. All persons should be kept safely away from vehicles engaged in hill climbs or when overcoming obstacles on the trail.

10. New drivers should be instructed in proper 4 wheeling techniques by seasoned 4 wheelers.

11. Don’t pull or tow anyone on sleds, racks, sheet etal or other material.

12. Firearms should not be unnecessarily displayed within the camp area, and should be discharged only at a safe, prudent distance from the campsite.

13. Citizens Band or HAM radios are highly recommended. Operators should abide by Federal Communication Rules.
