OK, the wife and I are in. We were going to wheel with the VB Jeepers but they have almost 30 Jeeps attending. We would rather wheel with a smaller group. Smaller group=more fun. I'll call John to see if he can come out and play.

How about us Virginia folks meeting at the Border Station in Moyock, NC at 7:30? The Border Station is right on the VA/NC line on Hy 168.

If you want to meet in Nags Head may I suggest the location listed below. It is at the intersection of Hy 12 and 158/64. The only downfall is that this 7/11 has no fuel so we can either fuel up before or after the meeting.

For a change I'll be bringing the TJ. Since it is still stock it doesn't get much of a chance to play. Besides if I get stuck Richard can pull me out :D

Meet at the border station sounds good to me, unless we decide to meet up higher up for Uvalax.

So do we want to BBQ on the beach or just Bring our own lunch???

My wife, son and Dog are coming.

I thought about BBQ on the beach but it might be too cold. We're going to look for some KFC or similar along the way and get enough food for the night as well. That lightens the load too.

Saturday's high is 47ish. We can BBQ/Sandwich it at the Nag's Head Lighthouse. The ranger station has restrooms, a visitor center, and a covered area where we can eat. In the past the rangers have let us fire up a small grill providing the place isn't to busy.

On the other hand we can have a late lunch. Not many places are serving this time of the year, but we can eat in Nags Head or head to towards Rodanthe, Frisco or even Ocracoke Island. Someplace will have food. I'm game for either.

Richard: Is the Border Station good for you? I'm going to drop Brady aline.

OBTW. The wife and I are also bringing our dog. The restaurant on Ocracoke Island used to allow folks to bring their dogs in. I'll check to see if things have changed.

Wait wait ... I think the 7:30AM is for VA guys to meet :) I'm planning to be at Nags Head at 9:00AM.

Are these times alright? Am I too late?

Today is decision day. Do you want to eat in a resturant, BBQ/sandwiches on the beach or play it by ear?

We will pack food for lunch on the beach. However, should we see interesting restaurant with views, why not?

Pack food for lunch, and if we see a restuarant then stop, sounds great.
