I forgot to copy this along with the other Uwharrie info...

33 Sites with electrical hookups: $15.00 per night.

Doubles: $ 30.00

17 sites with no hookups: $12.00 per night.

Doubles $ 24.00 per night.

What build are you about to start Richard? Are you gonna put a KJ body on that Rubi frame? :-)

I might have a couple friends coming along. One in a ZJ and one in a YJ. Trying to get a third to come along too.

James, I will give you a call today. My area code is 804.

Brady, Just you wish I would do that! I have 4.5" springs in the living room and a Clayton 4 link rear in the mail...maybe a few other goodies...

Are you going? Yes
When are you arriving? Late Friday night (most likely if wife can get a half a day off of work, if not we will meet everyone sat morning)
When are you leaving? Sunday morning/Afternoon
Are you camping? Yes

So those of you that are camping...... Where do you guys plan on camping? At arrowhead or along the trail? I don't mind anywhere but the wife is asking about the logistics.

Mike

We'll camp if it's in a place like Arrowhead is listed as being (Drive-up sites, picnic tables, showers and bathrooms, etc.). If it were just me and the dogs, we'd camp anywhere, but my wife only really roughs it twice a year during our long canoeing trips. So I don't think trail-side's gonna cut it for us (unless someone has an Adventure Trailer or something).

Richard: In lieu of a KJ body, I guess 4.5" of lift will just have to suffice. .........

Lou is looking forward to seeing everyone again. We'll also be bringing our rowdy 4-legged child, Terra (she's a mess). Anyone heard from Benmar2000 and/or fireman1028? I wanna see Ben's JK Unlimited!

Things didn't go as planned with that trip. Lots of last minute scrambles. My bad.

I have never camped up there, hells, it's been forever since I car camped. I think I might make this trip... I could handle some campfire hanging, and battle story telling...

Sorry guys but it looks like our finances will not allow the trip at this time. Maybe I can catch up with you guys on another run.

Well it looks like we are stayin at arrowhead campground. My buddy reserved a site today. We got site number 47. It is for tents only so it has no electric hook up. We chose this one cause it is away from everyone and there are only three other sites across the street. Soo it should be easy to enjoy some beverages at the end of the day with out any harassment!

I just thought I would let everyone know in case people wanted to get a site close by if they don't plan to car camp. Wife wasn't diggin that idea. Plus I am dragging a trailer out with my buddies quad on it. So It should be a good time.

It will be me, my wife wendy, my buddy rob, and his wife jenny.

Can't wait!

Mike

Do any of the sites around you have electric hookups?

It doesnt seem that any of them are close. The tent sites look to be on there own loop. If you check out this website it will give you a better idea.
Also if you put the date sin for that weekend it will show you what sites are still available.

Thanks for the link. I booked site 049. End of the road. I'm going to shoot the link to my buddies who might go. Maybe we'll take up the whole little road.
