I don't know if I agree with the comment about being attached to the pinch weld.
First, you are drilling a bunch of little holes into the pinch weld.
When you hit something, then it's hitting directly to the body of the Jeep.

I kind of like know I have that space between the rail and the body. Also, since mine aren't attached to the pinch weld, then they stick a little further out. Also, Rock Lizards look even shorter than mine.

I'm not an expert off-roader, but I assume since Andy has been doing it for awhile and has customized many a Jeep, he knows what he is doing. And as Daniel always pointed out, Andy over builds his stuff.

Saturday March 25th, 2006

Is this date good for everyone?
We need to come up with somethiing.
If not the 25th. Can people do the weekend of the 4th or the 11th?

We need some responses.

Pick a weekend and I'll adjust my schedule. Do we know if these will fit on an 20O5 w/o any modifications?

How much extra is it for the bar that extends out the sides? Last I heard we were looking at $250 for the basic bar. Also, what is the address of the shop?

I went there today to talk to Andy. If we get at least 6 people, the price drops to $225. He has set aside the 11th of March to do the install.

Send me a P.M. and I will give you directions.

Alright I will start a list of who is going to get a set and who is still thinking about it. I will edit my first post. I cannot do the 11th. I have a business meeting that I have to be in Richmond for. I can do the 4th, or anytime after the weekend of the 11th.

Yepper, I'm in. Richard, and anyone further North, would you like for me to drag your bars back to Va Beach? We can hook up on the 12th for delivery.

I am going Thursday to CRS. Andy is going to use my CRD to make a new template.

Any suggestions on how to make them better?

Find out how much they would charge to paint them before installing them.. Plain black is fine for a color is they ask.. Just something for protection to keep them from rusting...

If we have enough people. Why not do half on the 11th and the other half on the 25th?
