so is telico out now? sorry dont have time to read threw the whole thread

Most, if not all of the KJ guys DD their rigs (I do too!) so I think Tellico may be out due body/drivetrain damage. Is there anything besides Tellico in TN that is worth the drive?

yeah where i live with in an hr drive there are at least 10-15 trails that are really good. Harlan KY is a great place also callalantee (ATV park near Mt. city and Damascus) isnt bad and has a great place to camp. then again i like harder trails like telico and yes i DD my kj too. hope i get to ride with u guys and if not i hope you all have alot of fun.

a few lost members have ran telico though.here is a link . there are more pics of this ride somewhere but i cant find it. if i do ill post some more. i plan to run telico when it gets a little warmer and ill also post pics when i do. i understand about not wanting to mess up ur rig but thats what all the armor is for

Not to give Richard a geography lesson, but Tennessee is further away than South Carolina.

If you go back to the first page of the post, I updated the initial post with links to information about the suggested trails.

I have never been to Gulches (Laurens, SC), which is why I am leaning towards them, for something different. They have easy to hard trails. I'm sure a 4x2 could make some easy trails, but it probably not recommended. I know in Uwharrie you can't make it all the way around with a 4x2 and if it rained, you will definitely get stuck. And, it's SC, how hilly can it be?

Tellico is out.

Rausch Creek is in Pennsylvania, it would be a 7 hour drive for the Raleigh folks.

The OBX is having some legal issues, if they start enforcing the no vehicles on the beach rule, we may have no where to go.

My and my muffler does not want to go back to GWNF.

Depending on the route that the Raleigh crowd takes, we might be able to meet you along the way.

With it being Gluches put me on the weenie list. No desire to do an 8 hour one way drive, with 2 overnighters. I'll go motorcycling. Enjoy.

Now that can be doable for me, pending i have off that day. But since this is a Carolina lost thing, don't let people like me from VA (in 2 weeks) sway the group.

I don't mind going anywhere you guys choose to go. We could camp but if it's too cold out we might do the hotel thing. Whatever. Let me know so we can decide whether to bring the dog along or not.

We have never had much success getting anyone from SC to hang with us, despite us being called CAROLINA LOST, not NCLOST...

I am sorta watching the thread, would like to go on a run with y'all, Dean loves it so much when I hang out. :)

Okay guys. Sheesh.
I know we would rather go where the most people can go, just wanted to try something new.

Northern North Carolina is out.
Outer Banks is out (it's not a day trip).
And as far as I know, there isn't any legal OHV trails outside of Greensboro.

I guess we could do Uwharrie again. As long as we stay off of a couple of trails. Maybe just stick to the ones on the outside. Camping is free on the trails in Uwharrie, we usually go to Arrowhead, which is pretty cheap.
