Well, isn't that an interesting development? I just found out yesterday that I might be closing on (selling) my house on Mon, 20th, which would have me moving through the weekend of the 18th. I logged in this morning planning to post that I couldn't make it.

My wedding is on April 7th, so I don't know that I'll be able to make the 1st either. But I'll check.

In other words...changing the date is good for me.

DANG IT!

Well, I'm selling my house on the 20th, so I can't make the weekend of the 18th (moving).

As it turns out, my brother is buying a house in Raleigh on the 30th, so I'll be helping him move on the weekend of the 1st. Can't make it THEN either (and almost had him convinced to join the convoy in his KJ CRD).

What a crock!

I gotta find a trailer.

Ugg, it looks like I gotta ask again...you still up for bringing mine back with you? I'll be in Raleigh alllllll weekend (heading over Friday after work, won't come back until Sunday). We can meet down in Raleigh if you want. Or we can meet locally if that's better for you. Whichever works fine for me.

I called them and I'm all paid up. The rails are mine! Mwahh haa haa :twisted:

But I thought of something. I wonder if I could go down and have them installed on April 15th. I tried to call them again, but can't get through. If anyone talks to the CRS guys, can you find out if I might be able to come down a little later? April 15th works great for me. I'd just soooo much rather put these on in their shop than in my driveway.

If not, it's cool 'cause Ugg's set to bring them back here for me.

I dont think that would be a problem. I am having mine installed early. Mainly to make sure that everything fits properly, so there isnt any problems come the 1st.

I will still be there to meet everyone, only I will already have mine installed

Leave them a message or email them about an early install.

I like the look of those rails but I am a bit too far to have them installed there. Dpg party mentioned they might ship them. I read in this post however that they are welded to the frame? Do they not bolt up like other rock rails? If so then I probably cant get them as I dont know how to weld yet. :wink:

Yes they could ship them, however they weigh about 40 pounds apiece.
Also, they can be bolted on as well.

I am picking up mine and Ben's tommorow to apply the POR-15 and Hard Nose paint. We decided to go with a light gray color, (kinda like Dean's) I should have mine on next week, to make sure there isnt any fit problems.

I will have pictures posted asap!!!

Since the date is set.. People have paid.. What time are we meeting at the shop to have this done? Just getting an idea of what time I should leave Charleston to arrive in Charlotte..
