If its an overnight thing, Dean, I might stay at your place if your driving back for the night (and most importantly, if thats ok with you).

I will try to get off the 2nd if so count me in on the 1st. I just gotta see what the wife has planned since her birthday is on the 31st of march. I cant see a better way to spend a birthday weekend than wheelin!!!

Uwharrie isnt too far from my house so I should be able to make it no problem.

Rich my joint is open for room and board if you need it! A lil hospitality for the deal you gave me on the rack!

If you are okay with car camping, then I suggest Arrow Head Campground at UNF. Hot showers and clean bathroom.

Sorry guys, I won't be able to make it.
My mother is driving down from Michigan and Sunday is the only day she'll be at my place before she sees my other siblings.

Richard, you can still crash at my place on Saturday, that's no problem. Just let me know when you think you will be here.

If RedWolf (Daniel) goes, he should be able to lead you around UNF no problem. Just don't go to Kodak Rock or Daniel.

Plenty of hotels back towards Asheboro, so that shouldn't be a problem.
In fact, you guys will probably end by 5 pm, unless you plan on doing a night run.

I haven't been able to put tires on the WJ, so no go for me. The Eller family will be way more advanced than me in the nuances of the UNF anyway.

Wish I could have made it, but the combination of family obligations and lack of equipment has me pulling back.

I'm OK with either, but earlier is better, no? How far away is Uwharrie from Cary, NC anyway? Google map doesn't know how to find "Uwharrie" (it can't find some other landmark by names either, gripe :twisted:

).

Wait a minute ... Eldorado Outpost is already inside the forest isn't it? It's like right next door to Badin Lake, right? I thought you guys wanted to caravan. I thought Dean suggested McDees along the way somewhere.

My route looks like it will take me from the intersection of 55 and 1 west to 15, 24, 27, etc.
