Meredith, we will leave Apex at 7:15 or so, caravanning our three vehicles. I figure about 2 hours on the road, would put us there at 9:15 or so. Since you and Boomhauer are habitually late, what time do you plan on getting there??

I will be on CB channel 6, if you are near enough to see me!

I am excited, I wish we had a few others showing up, though!

EDIT: Eric, meet us at the McDonalds on 64, just past the Jeep dealership at 7. We depart between 0700 and 0715 folks!

I have overeaten and am trying to see straight to post a synopsis of this trip. We had a great time, wish there had been more of you to see me get stuck repeatedly in my WJ. I am sure someone will post pictures soon!

Thanks for the pics Eric!

We learned first hand how quickly the lines of approach can change dramatically from year to year. What was a bypass a year or so ago at Kodak rock trapped all three of us. Thank goodness it wasn't wet - we might still be there!

Overall I think it was an OK day, trail damage is always a sour note but at least we all made it out without being towed. Thanks again for the grill-on-the-trail meal Dean, that beats bad Eldorado chicken any day.

See y'all next time, maybe not on Rocky Mtn loop!

Sorry for the late reply would have loved to go but unfortunately I am currently in Iraq fighting Dust Storms and Kicking in doors for the next couple of months hope to try next year Jan09-Jun09 time frame. Take care
