Hello Carolina LOST,

I believe it is time to find some leadership and organization for the group.
I also believe that it's not me. I am too busy with other activities to be an effective leader for Carolina LOST. I am willing to help out behind the scenes and keep up the website, but someone else needs to take over the reigns of the group.

What the group needs :
1 ) Someone motivated
2 ) Someone organized
3 ) Someone who can put up with all sorts of different personalities

The motivation part is the key. It would be best to have one leader, but I think it would be fine if we had co-leaders for the group. 1 or more people interested in getting structure in the group and planning events.

If you think you would like to lead this group, then post a reply.

I don't think we're big enough for that are we? Every time I go wheeling I always see the same five or six people :) Should we think about joining up with other clubs?

Maybe we could try to get the Virginians to join us and make a LOST NCVA?
That way it might pick up around here.

There are at least 6 people active in the forum.

Basically, people are asking about the group, so the group needs to be some sort of a group. And with all groups, there has to be some sort of leadership to keep it organized.

So, since I am too busy with other things, I'm looking for someone who will step up and be the focal point for the group. Be the cheerleader. Start the on-line chat rooms that have been asked for. Discuss upcoming trips. And so on.

You have to start some where to great a bigger group, so start with the half a dozen or more people we have and go from there.

As a lifetime member and an early supporter of the KJ group in general, it would be my pleasure..... TO NOMINATE DIRTYKJ!!

I don't have a KJ anymore, so don't even try it people.

It is important to have a go-to person to lead this and start making it into more. Without leadership nothing happens. If you want to be able to wheel with other like minded Libertarians (well what would YOU say?) then this should be supported...

Shoot.

Due to an unanticipated development at work, I will not be able to take on this function in any event. We are not even sure what is going to happen in the near future (next six months or so). We are considering all options actually.
