Coming down from Maryland & visiting Wilmington, NC for a few days over Christmas...other than Freeman Park at Carolina Beach, any other off road opportunities in that area???

The locals are VERY tight lipped, but every time I drive down 27 I see trails cut through the woods. LOTS of Posted signs, so be careful... No "authorized" trails in the area, though...

mmm.....guess I'll have to do some "exploring" and see what trails I can find. At least I can do Freeman Park and get some beach time under the tires.
