It said what where? :)

Well, you know I think we can bend some rules here and there. The more members the better right? As long as you hold valid driver's license, have current insurance, are not insane, I'm pretty sure you can join.

What are your interests? Wanna do mountain runs with RedWolf or go to the beach with the rest of us "posers"?

Where the heck do you go to "off-road" in Raleigh?

Moab is coming up in March 2008. I will try my hardest to be there. I miss Moab.

haha, i do have my lisense and insurance, and im not insane (i think?). I have a beach house in wrightsville and go to obx for 3 weeks each summer, so ill do beach runs alot. Im down for mountain runs also, as long as my parents let me take those long trips, which they probably will. Theres a few trails that have lots of mud pits in the parts of Cary that havent been built in yet. Mostly by the factories that are stuck way back in the woods. Idk if i can make moab, pretty far away :(

Beach runs are fine with me. Next time I go to OBX I'll probably be carrying a Kayak on the roof (summer months).

Uwharrie is another popular destination that is only about 80-ish miles away from where many of our members live. The route we took last time (buddies from work and one couple from South Carolina) was a lot of fun, and it got to be challenging in a couple of places. Next time I'll have to try this last obstacle on ... what was it ... Dickie Bell. Yeah. That's it. The straight line got me that last time (no traction).

Modest?

I have tried drafting a humorous response a few times, but I can't come up with something that is as open ended as I want....

We haven't even been out together yet, but I have a reputation about me... Odd. Kinda hurts I guess, but I am a big boy, I will get over myself.

Oh gee, there goes my attempt at being funny. You can tell I need practice.

Daniel, I haven't been offroading with you due to just plain bad luck, man. It's not because of your personality or anything like that. We're really a little tied up right now with looking for new lease and stuff.

We are about ready to put in an offer for a piece of land :)

Oh did I mention my front alignment sucks? It pops near full-lock, I have to bring that in to another Firestone location to get that fixed before I'd feel comfortable off-roading again.

haha we might go to some trails by Cisco systems that were chained off but some rednecks ripped down the chains. Me, a red TJ with a 4"lift, nd a rubicon will probaby hit up some mud pits there.

There used to be a pretty good playground where the orange county dirt track was in the 60's, and as often as i used to go there when I was in highschool, i can't remember how to get to brigadune

there's gotta be somethin worthwhile in the Raleigh area without having to go to charlotte (Uhw) or the beach

I love the beach tho.. :)

Do we have any newbies in Carolina LOST? Also I am going to try and get up a meet and greet/Wrenching day. I have a large shop with multiple bays and air tools and even a full oil pit. Anyone have any projects they are working on or wanting to work on?

Just thought I would introduce myself and say that I am interested in the group. From what I can tell the group seems to be small...explains why I've only ever seen one lifted Liberty in person. I recently joined the LOST forum but I have had my KJ for a little over a year now. I'm in the Clemson, SC area...

What color was the it? And welcome to LOST and the Carolina chapter which is pretty much dormant. But I have been trying to get the Carolina's to reunit.
