We had such a great weekend!

Chris and I have debated which one of us has the better flex pics - it was a lot of fun to drive again. I haven't wheeled anything since I traded my Liberty a few years ago, now I have the bug again. I don't see any mods in the near future for my Cherokee, but maybe Chris will share the TJ. (PS Daniel those are 33's - we didn't want Chris's mom to notice  or maybe it was just the skill of the spotters)

That was the inaugural run of the Mickey Thompsons - we like them so much we might have converted all future offroad tire purchases to MTZ's. By far the quietest mud tire we have ever owned and they cleaned right out. (All over the side of the Jeep, but hey, ya can't have it all) We found out when we got back to the Outpost that the left rear tire still had 50 lbs of air in it! (OOPS)

We are going to URE for the Uwharrie Cross next month, hope to see y'all again!

Wow! Awesome photos!

Thank your friend on the quad for busting the photos! I forget the ladies names as well, and they were snapping some shots too, so make sure you thank them as well.

OK - the most experienced off-roaders were sporting a non-aired tire? What the hell??

And only 33's??? I thought you went bigger?

The Dunlops were 32's but actually only measured about 31. These metrics measure a true 33.

Yeah go figure with the 50 lbs of extra O2 - maybe we were a little off the game for the first run of the season - we did get lost (no pun intended) on a trip we have made for almost 20 yrs! No more shortcuts!

James I did Daniel on the quad and that would have defintely put the KJs through there paces!!! I wouldnt even consider it since I dont have rails yet. Would have been wild cause the bigger rigs out there definitly have that trail tore up!! I still have yet to see Kodak rock too. Didnt even come across it when I was out on the quad.

The mud and water defintily put a hurtin on my electric fan. The fix for it was was a nice warm shower back in the bath house at the campground. LoL I actually pulled the whole assembly off the Jeep and took it in the shower and cleaned it off! :D Ran cool all the way home and still is not over heatin anymore.

we just need to find a more powerful fan that can fit in the same place and add a kill switch for when we go through water

The fan assembly has some sort of open entrance, which allows too much "guk" to get into the motor housing. When the windings get overloaded, the fan stops. Gotsta be the dilly.

A more powerful or different style motor would be beneficial if you like that kind of mud fjording. Me - I'll take clean diff and tranny fluids for $100, Alex.

Mike - I posted the pictures from my camera that I put onto my HD. When I get back to the house later this week, I will put the other photos up.

As for doing Kodak or Daniel - well, with the crowds and the conditions, it would have drawn an audience for sure. I heard there was 2 rollovers on the second line...

When I was pulling out of the EO, the local fuzz was discussing some issues with several people heading into the park entrnce... I wonder if anything came of the abandoned Toy?

Barney Fife wasn't about to do anything.

So, you know the guy with the tattoo came by as a passenger in a Scion B out of Dutch John parking space. Barney some how ended up at the camp ground when we got back spraying down the engines and I told him all about it. He just gave us that spaced out look and that was it. We even told him to go to Eldorado Outpost to find you.
