Post subject:  Any Official Uwharrie Runs on Memorial Weekend?

I am looking to hit Uwharrie for the first time on Memorial Day Weekend. I have very little off road experience and no winch (ouch). So I'm lookin for a group going. My mods are in the sig, but I have 2.5" of lift and 32" BFG's. Part Time 4wd. That's about it. I do have the front hooks as recovery points if needed and Class 3 Hitch (currently has a ball, but I can get a shackle).

We'll be interested in camping too.

Thanks,

I don't know of any official runs.... I am trying to get a neighbor or two to go at some point over the weekend as well.

IT'S OFFICIAL! I'm going this weekend. I'll be in my 03 Liberty.
IF anyone wants to see the custom 8" subs under the front seats, just flag me down. I'll be the only jeep stupid enough to show up on BBS RX rims. (I don't care if they get torn up).

I will also have the ability to set up a wireless hotspot if anyone needs one. I can set my phone up as a wireless router with a high speed broadband connection (300-400k) or I can set my laptop up with my wireless laptop card (it's a cellular broadband card).

Also, we will be tent camping. I do not have anywhere to camp right now and We will be arriving late (5 or 6 pm). So if anyone has the ability to save us a spot or something, it would be appreciated :)

If not, I'll just find a spot on a trail somewhere.

Thanks
