So, I was getting out of my Renegade to put up a lawn sign and a guy in a GC stopped and asked if my Liberty was for sale. Needless to say, I was caught off guard.

1 . ) It has an obvious dent from a tree on one side from Uwharrie
2. ) It is an 2004
3. ) It has 103,000+ miles on it
4. ) It is a truck and gets crappy gas mileage

The guy owns a used car lot in Cary. I'm still trying to figure out why he would buy a Jeep or SUV with today's gas prices. He didn't give me a price, probably waiting for me to give him a low ball price. I said I would have to think about it and he gave me his business card.

Odd.

I plan on getting a commuter car next fall, so I don't have to put many more daily miles on the Liberty. But, the plan is to keep the Rene for when I go camping and stuff.

He might want it as a bait vehicle on a sandlot. Some of the smaller dealerships will get a vehicle that looks cool and put it out front, knowing that people will stop to look at it...then they try to sell them something else.

I think my back tire has more off-road mileage than all 4 of yours Richard. And I just bought it.

Talk to the 2 weeks of baked on mud all over my springs...the ones that fell in the mud from too much flex.

I've seen your off-road video. Hanging out in your friends back yard isn't considered off-road.
