I'm in Raleigh NC I have a 2007 Libby sport. Trying to get into mild off roading i say mild b/c i can't bring myself to flood the jeep. My in laws both have jeeps a 4x4 Sahara mother in-law and a 4x2 wrangler. They have asked me of some trails in the area i don't know of any but we are very interested in learning what our jeeps can do (me and the mother in law lol).

here we are playing in a construction site near my house before they actually started building.

My friend told me he sometimes goes on this piece of land on the 55, where it meets the 1. It's right next to the gas station and you can supposedly take the dirt road to get on it.

You might try looking at the Wake County RE site to locate these parcels of undeveloped land. The owners are companies and trust (I think) out of state so it's unlikely that they will give you trouble for driving on their land :-) :-) :-)

Have fun ...

The center of the map where you see the dirt road going south, that would be the way to get in.

Link here (Google map)

I went down in there a long time ago. There's a house in amongst the nothingness, and I skedaddled away before I got shot at... I was low on ammo and all. - :)
