So this is your first time at URE MonkeyFart? You'll have a blast. I hope Ronnie Helmo knows which way to take you on the trails. If not, just be cautious and you'll be ok. I'd avoid Daniel if you guys aren't experienced there or with a well built group. Also, you will want to go UP (not down) Kodak Rock. Last piece of advice, I would go west to east on Dickey Bell (otherwise you go down a particularly uncomfortable rocky area.)

I would like to get some camping in, but I'm still not sure of my work schedule.

They extended the project go live date to June 1st, so that means I probably will have to be in cell range or something every weekend before then.

If I did go to Uwharrie, I don't think I would be going off road. Things don't sound kosher on the front end when I take turns, but I'm not up to spending more money to get it checked out at the moment.

I might go to the shooting range.

Well Dean-o, I know a good shop if you need one. I'd need your Lib for a few days, but I could get it back up and running. Let me know when you're ready to do it...

Sounds like suspension related or drivetrain related?

Well, first thing is to fix the stupid engine hood release.

It's suspension related. I think I banged up some things really good and the alignment I got didn't help. Or it could be the new shocks and old springs.

All,

Just got back from Uwharrie - had a wonderful time. The weather was pleasant, day time temps were comfortable with a few rain showers. We tackled all of the trails except Daniel. One thing that I learned is that (just like Dicky Bell) Dutch John needs to be run uphill - see links to some funny photos below.
