Not sure where yet, But the wifey and I are FINALLY moving to Raleigh.
Our lease runs out here at the end of August, so we have been looking for places to move to out there.

Anyone know of any places around there that will let us keep our dog?
55Lb. AmStaff Terrier?
We found ONE so far.

Should just start looking for "houses for rent." I hate living in apartments.

Hope to meet some of you guys soon!

Anthony.

Yes, start looking for houses to rent.
You won't find many apartments that allow pets.

Guess you'll get here just about the time it starts really warming up down here.

My brother's wife's brother has a house outside of Raleigh. I'll see if they're renting it out, or trying to sell it.

Duplex's may be better about pets, and they are 10x more convenient when taking them out 5 times a day.

Found one! Its called Falls Creek. Its North on Hwy 1, in the Neuse Crossroads area.

It's a one level, one bed, one den, Perfect! Will be there by the end of August!

AND, I get to drive the Penske truck, across country!!!

T - minus 14 days, and counting...

Just have to figure out some hired help with the loading and unloading of the truck...

A week ago, my wife broke her big toe. lol. On a microwave...

I got a bad cold. and my knees are shot, no heavy lifting.

My dad had shoulder surgery, my bro-in-law now has crone's disease.. That's some harsh stuff right there. I don't want to ask him for too much.

Every one in my family is F'ed up. It's weird. We suck. lol.

Has anyone moved recently, and used a good company for helping to load and unload their gear?

I sent an email to check with my brother. He lived in two different houses in that area and I am thinking he hired someone to help him load/unload one of those times. I'll let you know if I hear anything. If I lived closer, I'd be over there helping.

Okay, my brother just reminded me that I helped him move both times he moved in NC. I guess he paid well...in alcohol.

He did point out http://www.emove.com/ though, which might be of help.

I will try for a grill, depends on what the wifey says.

We can have a meet n' meat? :) I feel clever. lol.

Thanks dog_party. I'm checking that site out right now.

Nothing better to do. I can't lay down, can't breath. lol.

Just took my dog for a walk, and it's two thirty in the AM!
this cold sucks...

Just checked out the site... I found "Phil and Ted's Excellent Adventure" lol.
just thought I would share... Thought it was funny..
