Knoxville was the most central spot in Eastern USA for a LOST gathering. It is one hard days drive from MN, FL, ME and LA.

Only an 8 hour drive for you. We're coming down from Chicago, over 9 hours. This will be our third trip to these trails. Definitely a good time, you should consider it.

US-78W out of "Wilmiwood" to I-95S to I-20W into Columbia, SC then I-26W to Asheville, NC then I-40W to Knoxville, TN is less than 500 miles (unless you WANT to take US-74 all the way to Asheville LOL)

By the literal definitive, yes, this is not "East Coast" but considering that most of the events previously scheduled (and much of the best off-roading) is in the "West", the use of "East Coast" to refer to "everything East of the Mississippi" is not unusual.

If you want to get technical, we probably should have called it the "LOST Eastern U.S. Safari":

Join us!!!! You won't be sorry... :D

Man..... Just agreed to take care of the gf after her wisdom teeth get taken out. It's only 3 and a half hours away from me in the mountains too.

It is real close -- BTW, I went to school at UNCC from '86-'90 and my folks are retired to Burnsville, NC since '89.

Tell the GF here are your pain meds, and you create ice-chips with ice cubes, a dish towel, and a hammer...
