basically who ever bought it new wanted a limited and found it was cheaper to add the nice stuff a limited has off of a rene vrs. buy a straight out of the box limited... |

I think we've met at one of the Uwharrie trips. I have the Silver libby with the custom steel bumpers. Anyway, welcome to the KJ board. There is a TON of information on here. Just search or ask if you need anything. Let us know if you need advice on which mods to do first. |

Yeah we have met... I had an 03 years ago that i did some work to, so i know how fun it can be to have one... Hopefully I'm just doing some skids and a small lift for now, and getting rid of some of the bling the PO put on it.. Come tax time i'm prob going to be in the market for a rubi 44 front axle for some real fun 
And James, I actually saw another jeep outfitted like this one this week, I spoke with the owner, they told me they ordered it like that because they liked the limited trim but wanted the Renegade style hood setup.. Kind of wierd but I like the setup its different for sure. |

I have a stock tranny skid you can have to get you started. They aren't the strongest, but you can strengthen it, or replace it later. |

A Renegades cost just as much as a Limited, maybe more. The big difference was that you can't have heated seats and the light bar. My '04 Renegade has leather, upgraded stereo, sun roof and of course the Renegade off-road and towing package. The only thing that I don't have is the chrome and the heated seats, so I'm guessing the added usability of the Renegade equals the price of the added bling of the Limited. |

Placing my order for a Rusty's 2.5" kit and full skids in the morning. Building a set of rockrails next weekend Headed to uwharrie with the new pop-up camper in tow for 3 days of wheeling in sept.. Can't wait!
