straight from the NRA...

National Parks To Allow Right-To-Carry

The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), through the National Park Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, has announced the final amended version of its changes to rules on carrying of firearms in national parks and wildlife refuges. DOI's move will restore the rights of law-abiding gun owners who wish to transport and carry firearms for lawful purposes on most DOI lands, and will make federal law consistent with the state law in which these public lands are located. NRA led the effort to amend the existing policy regarding the carrying and transportation of firearms on these federal lands.

Glad to hear that. I wonder if this will allow concealed carry in Uwharrie.

I have a Ruger P95 now.
Maybe I'll bring it out the next time we go to Uwharrie.

Good. Glad to hear that. There are an awful lot of cc permits issued up here and an awful lot of forrest but mostly State lands. Still, it is good to see rights restored instead of taken away.

Hey Dean, I had a stainless P95 for a while. A nice weapon but I had it in 9mm and I like a little more stoping power behind my round.

Did you get it in 9mm, 10mm, or .40? I found extended 9mm mags at the Dixie show here in town for a good value. Do those come with the tritium sights?

Uwharrie closed this past weekend. I went on Sunday with the Ellers and we had a good ride. The conditions were perfect! Just enough of the slippery stuff to make it fun, but not so much as to be overwhelming...

Mud - Yuck. My driveway is still covered in silt and rocks from the undercarriage!

I have the 9mm with 2 - 15 round clips. I tried to find 17 round clips at the gun show, but I didn't like the price.

I have the black one. I don't think it has tritium sights. I was thinking about upgrading to fiber optic sights and adding a grip. Biggest problem is that with 15 round clips, 100 rounds goes really quickly.

As for stopping power. I have pretty good shooting. If it doesn't stop after 15, then I'm probably screwed anyway.
