Ok so here is the plan ... me and my group of jeep homies are planning a trip 3rd weekend of april thats the 16th through 18th for you calender people. we would love to have more come we all know the uwharrie trails well so noobies of all types are welcome. There will be lots of beer drinking and possibly some hell raising so if you have kids hang around us at your own risk lol. we will be camping on rockymountain loop on the kodak rock entrance. like i said earlier we know the trails well and will not let you damage your Jeep. so all are welcome. if anyone has any questions feel free to call me at (919) 819-4921 or toss me an email at SDavisMail@gmail.com or as a message on the forums here. If you live in the raliegh area we are planning a maintenence weekend towards the end of march so if you jeep needs work before the Uwharrie trip we have a car lift and plenty of welding and torches.

see you at Uwharrie Drive safe

Steve, I would love to be able to make it there and drink some beer, oh does a beer or 6 sound good. But being deployed isn't going to allow me to either.

Have fun and take pics.

That would be cool, but I'm kind of less into the drinking and trail riding than I used to be.

we use the bathrooms at the camp grounds which are actually rather nice for campground bathrooms in that i mean they have hot water... as far as running water goes i usually bring a couple of 6 gallon water jugs with me for bulk water and washing up before we eat. any items that need to be bought, there is a walmart about 12 miles from uwharrie and plenty of things at the outpost which is just down the road from where we camp.

i just got back from deployment, i pretty was camping for 5 months with no running water and shitting in 55 gallon drums cut in half, I preffer to stay at hotels, which have internet, cable tv, a nice shower and my own bed, oh yes heat too.

the only way i would camp if the camp groun has no fire restrictions, so i could build a camp fire from hell

I'd like to go, and I might. I'm still looking at buying another trail vehicle, but I have to wait until after I buy my house (should close early next month). Until then I have to keep all my money in the bank to make it look good for the mortgage company. After I close though I'll have enough cash left to buy a 2010 4-door Rubicon if I want. I'll probably just buy a built older wrangler for the trails and then put an in-ground pool in. If they'd ever release the SFA kit, I'd consider that... :juggle:
