Hmm this is so tempting, and im acutally going to be free. definately a newb though, only been once before (Badlands in indiana on the "White" trail) im a little hesatant though because last time i went i dented up my rocker panels a little bit, and got muddy water up in my clutch and killed the bearing.

im new to Charleston, SC and dont know anyone down here to get started wheeling with. curious if you think my jeep would have any problems on the trails up there, wouldnt be to hard to convince me to go :p
its still stock, at 118k miles so stock springs are saggy a bit... no rock rails, only a transfer case/gas tank skids, manual transmission with wrangler SRA's on the rear and Yokohama Geolander AT's up front, both with only OK tread...

If you think i shouldnt have any problems i might go, otherwise I will be waiting a couple more months till after i get a frankenlift installed/31" tires/rock rails...

Kdabbagh:

If you end up going this weekend, I'd be interested to see how you do and get your feedback on how well an older stocker does. I want to go to uwharrie the first weekend in may and it sounds like our Jeeps are pretty similar. So, I'd be interested in any knowledge/info you gain. Thanks.

all are welcome must have skids and recovery ......... lift and tires are preffered as well but well find something for you to play on

i went once as a stocker.... with skids and rails... week later i bought lift tires and it became a totally different place

my group tries to go once a month till its closed so more trips will be had

we range from wranglers on 6 inch lift to custom trail rigs to cherokees on 31s so we take everyone and promise to have a good time... beer drinking is a must... so if you dont like roudy people well camp at another place. :D
