Hello,

I am fairly new to the area. I am Air Force, and live around Ft Bragg. I have a 2005 KJ CRD. Not real sure of any areas to let the Jeep play. I am interested in the club, and definitely open to offroad areas that anyone knows of. Thanks, Kristopher

Welcome to NC and thanks for your service.
You are close to Uwharrie National Forest and Badin Lake.
"The Badin Lake Recreation Area offers a myriad of recreational opportunities. There are 17 miles of Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) or motorized trails available for dirt bikes, ATVs, and full-sized 4-WD vehicles with the purchase of a trail pass. Primitive camping or dispersed camping can be done along the trails & at the Art Lilley Campground that is located in the Badin Lake OHV Trail Complex."

I'm in Wilmington and have been a few times with ATVs. Just recently lifted my KK but still no skids. There is a Fayeteville Jeep club, mostly Wranglers, not sure what the club name is but I think it's associated with a local dealership.
If you want to play at the beach, I usually go out to the North End of Carolina Beach (Freeman Park) every weekend. $20/day or $100/year
