That was so cool wasn't it Mike? Watching movies on the Rubicon through the speakers of new Rubicons! BTW, the 2nd movie we watched was The World's Fastest Indian and it came out in 2005. Great movie BTW.

Well, unfortunately the person with most of the equipment couldn't make the event. Then other people had to leave early, so we pretty much headed back before doing the movie thing.

Maybe we will try again on the next big run.

I couldn't make it due to my wife's knee injury and I was bringing the computer. Ben couldn't make it and he was bringing the projector. I think the speakers and maybe the viewing screen showed up.

Ahhh, the rebirth of movie night on the trail. We have to revisit the computer/projector/sound/screen/audio-connections logistics. I have a computer...I'll see what I can borrow from my buddy and post it up. But if anyone else has any equipment that could be useful...

I can, at least, say that I'm not as worried about the parachute effect on the screen since this won't be on the windy beaches of OBX. But we do still need a screen. Anyone with a big white tarp? King-sized white bed sheet? A bunch of rolls of bounty and some duct tape? Anything?

If we're all camping at Arrowhead, we should try to get adjoining/surrounding sites. That would definitely help eliminate any sound-ordinance logistics.

I might still have a big painting tarp that's not all messed up.
I'll guess I'll check on that.
