BUT.. if you plan on a lift with big tires make sure you install those rear bumpstops..
I just notice that I ripped a rivet off of the passenger side rear door panel. On the driver side rear, it rubbed on the plastic, and actually bent the metal, nothing my hammer couldn't fix .I don't know where on the trail, but good thing there wasn't more damage. That tire must've been stuffft.

Haha, funny you say that, I did the same thing before I was lifted. When I checked after wards, There was a pile of dirt infront of my exhaust, Kind of worked like a shovel, lol.

I mentioned this before, somewhere.Jeep has a rebate refresh your ride, 2006-2008 Jeeps 40.00 off. But you fill out the form so!!!! I got mine when the rebate was 40.00 but you had to spend 200.00 so I got the gas tank skid for 200.00 - 40.00 rebate 160.00, or I never would have bought it( dont think its realy need for me) .

True, but the KK's gas tank isn't as far back as the KJ's theirs is more vulnerable. Unfortunately you need all of them, lol.. but if you must buy them separately. I say start with the most expensive.

If it is the "Front Suspension" or Transmission, it might with some persuasion.

i would start w the radiator and work back... because when installing the you have to start there... so why pull off the skids each time. the gas tank already has s metal shell around it. i havent skidded mine yet. the kj and kk both share the same tranny skid plate ( i believe since its same part number for both)
