I'm in Rochester too (well . . . Canandaigua). I've been searching for nice trails down near Bristol and Naples. I'll let you all know when i come across something worth mentioning.

My wife and I vacation in the Bristol / Naples area frequently. Gorgeous country, but it doesn't seem to cater to the 4x4 crowd, being such a quiet area.

I'm gonna wheel through some trails in the "High Tor wildlife management area" near Middlesex. It's a state park I think. Check it out on satellite view, it looks pretty easy but fun.

Well, High Tor is AWESOME.

It's not very difficult. You'd only get stuck if you have crud tires. It's just two tracking, but VERY steep hills with loose rocks. You basically drive straight up a mountain. Lo-range/1st gear does the trick.Pics from some of the more flat areas (I wasn't about to stop and get out to snap pics on the steep parts)
